If you are a first-time puppy, dog or English Mastiff owner, I highly recommend this book. I read this book before I got my first English mastiff. It gave me good tips and a good perspective on the breed. Also I recommend simple research, you want to have a feel for the breed and know what your getting yourself into remember this is a big decision and a life long commitment.
